Yeah, so I have no idea what's going on with my computer. I type something in on google, and it comes up with a blank screen with _jJ5H-Ky at the upper left corner. Also, randomly internet explorer will pop up continusly untill I restart my compuer. It's obviously a virus, but I can't spend any money to get it off, so can you please tell me a step by step solution for this?! I'm so confused, please help me! Thanks (:

Ok what I recommend you do is go download and install Malwarebytes Free Edition From here > http://download.cnet...fd11b78f1401aa5 update it and run a full system scan. Now Malwarebytes scans very slow so be prepared for it to take an hour or more. After Malwarebytes is finished scanning remove all infections then restart your computer. If you need any help installing and scanning with Malwarebytes look here > http://www.pchelphq....de-wsreenshots/ Just scroll down a little and you will see some screen shots on how to start Malwarebytes. The only thing your going to do different is a full scan instead of a quick scan. Post back when your scan is finished to let us know if the problem still exists.

Does it give you any type of error, or does it just not open?

Some viruses may actually prevent the program from launching. Try opening up Windows Explorer (Start->All Programs->Accessories->Windows Explorer)

Double click on your C drive, double click on Program Files (Program Files (x86) if on Vista 64-bit), look for the malwarebytes folder, double click on it, and look for a MBAM.exe file. Rename this file to watermelonsmilesss.exe and try running the program.

As a side note, what operating system are you using?

Yup :)

First, did you click update when you installed the program? If not, you will need to click on the Update tab and click the Check for Updates tab. Malwarebytes will now update its virus definitions and to the latest version if needed.

Next, make sure your on the scanner tab and Preform a Quick Scan is selected, then click the scan button.

The scan should only take a couple of minutes, so be patient. Once the scan is finished you will get a window that looks like this. Click on the "show results" button.

On the scan results windows make sure that there are green check marks in the boxes beside all of the infections, and click the "remove selected" button.

Once Malwarebytes removes the infections you will get a scan log with information in it similar to this (Your entries may be different, this is just for demo purpose):

Note: Not every infection will be removed until you restart your PC. Once your PC is booted back up, run a full scan with Malwarebytes instead of a quick scan. This will ensure that there are no left over infections on your PC.
