Opening RAR files

Is there a program that lets me open RAR files? I have this RAR file that I want to open but don't have anything to open it with D:

you can use winrar but it will only be a trial version. i would suggest that you use 7zip, since its free and just as good as winrar. download from here > http://www.7-zip.org/

7-Zip will allow you to open and read rar files, but will not make rar files as a fyi. Still a great program though :)

ive always used winrar and it will have that pop up to buy but you never have to purchase it.

Yes I know 7zip will not create .rar files. I have always preferred winrar myself because you get more compression using a .rar format instead of a zip. But I have been using 7zip just because its completely free, and you don't have to keep reinstalling winrar every 40 days.
