Was there any software that came with your Router or Modem??? What type Brand is your router and modem? Have you tried logging into your router from your computer?? Have you checked your ip address configuration?

Optional: If you don't mind losing your current config on your router and modem, hit the reset button on the back of them and reset both of them back to factory defaults. This could help solve a ton of headaches.
First power off everything, including the PCs.
Then, take the network cable that is connected to the internet and put it into the WAN port on the back of the modem.
Next, run a straight cable from one of the four ports on the back of the modem to the uplink on your router.
Then turn on the modem and give it 30 seconds, turn on the router and give it 30 seconds, then turn on your PC. See if this helps.

Try this. If you connect the modem to the pc, does it work? (ONLY DO THIS FOR A SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME AND MAKE SURE YOUR FIREWALL IS ENABLED)

You hooked up the Modem to the PC directly and you don't get an internet connection?
If that is true, either your modem is broken or the problem is with your ISP (internet service provider)
