My brother's Nvidia GeForce 8300 GS w/512mb RAM just went bad on him. Its 4 years old so I wasn't surprised when he told me. I am looking into getting him a new one. I guess my budget would be around $75. Any Recommendations or suggetstions? ATI or Nvidia?? I know they are both good but who is making a better product for my price range?

What games is he going to be playing? It has a PCI-E socket?

Yes it has a PCI-E. He really doesn't play too many games that are really heavy on system resources. I guess the most graphically intense game that he plays is GP Moto 08. And the specs are not really that bad.(512RAM and 256mb of graphics memory) Other than that one everything else is pretty basic. He doesn't do any online gaming, just plays games that are locally installed.

Well I got the new graphics card this weekend. Went with a Nvidia GeForce 210 W/512mb RAM & W/HDMI. A good card for a 19" monitor

I was just wondering because we have it in our reviews system for $44.99 MSI GeForce 210 N210-MD512H Video Card and BIOSTAR GeForce 210 VN2102NH56 Video Cardplus GIGABYTE GeForce 210 GV-N210OC-512I Video Card and many more just use search box, I just wanted to see if we have the right prices for our members plus it helps to support PCHHQ if purchased thought them links

I did not purchase the card online. Bought it from Best Buy for $10 more.
