Hi guys this is my first post here. I badly need help setting up my raid 0, this is my first build and I feel like such a noob. My problem is that I have set up my 2 SSD in RAID 0 and they work but....my 1 TB Harddrive isn't showing up and I cant save on it for some reason. When I enter bios it does recognize the Hardrive and the HD does work but windows 7 doesn't even show it in my Hardrive list (it only lists my SSD's). I really don't know what am doing wrong and I really need my HD cause 60GB is EXTREMELY limiting. This is all the usefull info I can rovide for you guys:
Mobo: EVGA x58 3xSLI
SATA 0 - my CD/DVD reader/writer
SATA 1 - SSD
SATA 2 - SSD
SATA 3 - 1TB HD
So far I have gone into bios and entered RAID under SATA Mode in Intergrated peripherals menu / Onboard PATA/SAT Device then turned off the PC and hit crtl-i to enter the raid controller, under the raid controller I set up my SSDs in RAID 0 (working) and I can't do anything to my HD since it says there is not enough volume to set up another RAID so my HD shows up as non-RAID. Please help me out and thanks guys in advance.

Hello psbear532,

Welcome to PC Help Headquarters. I have a setup very similar to yours. Could you tell me if you are using the JMicron sata controller or the Intel controller? (The black sata slots are controlled by the intel controller, red by the jmicron). If they are 0-3 they should be on the black sata ports if I am correct.

If the BIOS sees it and the raid controller, windows must as well. Could you try clicking Start, Right click on My Computer, Click Manage. Tick the little arrow to the left of Storage on the left list, and click on Disk Management. Do you see the drive in here?

Also, have you installed the IntelĀ® Matrix Storage Manager? You can download it for free from EVGA's site. Here is the direct download: IntelĀ® Matrix Storage Manager

Finally I got it to work all thanks to your guidance. Thank you sooooo much noop I could never have gotten it without your help, if there is anything you need at all anytime am your man. I am suprised how simple it was too, the problem was that the disk wasn't activated in windows. Thanks again man now my first build is running flawlessly, this being the only problem I ran into I think I can consider myself lucky :P
