You don't have a section for this... So I'm posting this here Brand new floppy drive doesn't work

My friends that gave me this computer told me that the floppy drive that was originally in it wasn't working so they bought a new one and had it put in and it still doesn't work. I know Floppy disks aren't even really used anymore, but it just drives me crazy not knowing why it won't work. :blink:

When you put a floppy in, can you hear it read the floppy and does the status light show?
