I recently installed Windows 7, in fact, it was today, and I have no sound on my computer. Supposedly, there is a 'High Definition Audio Device' installed... and it's supposed to be 'working properly' but there is no sound. Am I supposed to install something? I'm not familiar with this- a driver or a sound card? If someone is familiar with this, will you please explain to me what I need to install and how to get it to work properly? That would be great- Thanks

That's OK if you download Belarc here http://www.belarc.co...e_download.html and run it over the PC it will tell us the model and all the hardware and software in the PC. Once you run this post back "main circuit board info" and "Multimedia" info :D

They don't have a windows 7 driver at ASUS try the vista driver here http://support.asus....SLanguage=en-us under audio section download and install this. Post back the results

IF that one don't work this one should http://download1.ope....10.02.6585.exe but it's not from ASUS
