I got a dell laptop computer windows 98?
how do i upgrade it with windows xp,i have windows xp disc, what exactly do i need to do to solve this issue, when i try to click on my internet explorer i get no connection,any help welcomed what to do so i can be able to connect to internet,windows 98 outdated,please help with what to do. do i have to upgrade in order to get on internet or what exactly do i do in order to get on internet,please help,be specific,new at this,thanks

Hello pumpkinslion 
It would be best to upgrade it to XP. You will need to put the XP CD in the CD drive and restart the laptop, when it restarts watch the screen it should say "press any key to boot off CD/DVD" or similar, when it shows that press a key on the keyboard it should boot off the XP CD and begin installing follow the prompts. Let me know if this don't work
