Ok gentlemen(Matt and noop) you say you love challenges.. ok lol this computer pc i have has a mind of its own.
The pc is a Windows xp home edition which doesnt have the disks anymore. staples put the windows on there. its been running great for the passed 5yrs.. but now its beginging to be a pain in the rear end..
The computer when it is booting up with A: Shutdown and restart or B: Let you on and you get to open something and it freezes. You could be in the middle of a yahoo game and the computer will reboot. it has everything on it for spywares and that the funny thing is. it worked GREAT! at the Tech machanics place not a problem ran for 3 days with no problem.. i bring it home it does it all over again. Could you tell me what it could be. cause im lost. i started eliminateing hardware but it didnt work. it is on a surge bar but still does it. so could you tell me what would be causeing this problem. All machinics here are stumpt.
You fellas wanted a challenge. You were warned about it lmao ita a pain in the rear end.

and also i got a new tower in its place right now and i cannot figure out how to transfer so my outlook emails will go to this new tower.
please if you got any ideas let me know lol

Wow, looks like we got a bit of work.

Could you try to boot into Safe Mode? Tap the F8 key when the computer starts up repeatedly until you get the menu. Once you login, everything will look funky, that is normal. Try to open up a few programs to see if anything works without freezing.

Try Last Known Good Configuration on the screen where you select to go into safe mode.

Tick next to these one and click fix. Also I noticed your running Norton anti virus this is one big resource hog! I'd uninstall it and just run avast
