I just bought a new microwave and I have it in my room about 5 feet away. Its plugged into a different wall socket. I have never had a Bosd on this comp until now. I made a cup of tea, then logged onto my game Runes of Magic (Awsome game) Then I got a Bsod and the computer was making a wierd grinding noise then rebooted itself. The Bsod was doing a count down of a memory dump, thats all i could gather before it rebooted. I just think it's wierd that as soon as I use the microwave and about 5 mins later I get the bsod. Is it possible for the microwave to even done this, it's a 1100 watt microwave.

try these steps to find it

# Click Start, and then click Search.
# Click All files and folders.
# In the All or part of the file name box, type *.dmp.
# In the Look in box, click the drive that contains your Windows folder. If you have configured Windows to write debugging information to a different drive, click this drive instead of your Windows drive.
# Click More advanced options, and then make sure that the Search system folders check box is selected.
# Click Search.
Windows searches your drive for all .dmp files.

Ok in windows 7 there is no click search, when you click the start button all you get is a box to do a search in. And when I type .dmp nothing gets found.

Ok I found it, but I did not find anything that says bsod dump, but these are the dump files Memory.dmp/RA.dmp/debug.dmp/root.dmp and a Dmp folder that won't let me have access to it.

Ok sorry, thank you for your patience with this. I am looking for how to attach the file but I don't see anything here to allow me to attach a file. I am not computer illiterate but this is new to me. How do i attach the file.
