boot priority order:
1:usb optical drive (*)
2:internal optical drive
3:floppy disk drive(*)
4:usb flash (*)

Welcome to the site rcec1!

You need to go into your bios and change your boot order, or simple remove all cd's and usb devices from the laptop. If you do go into the bios, make your boot list this:

  • internal optical drive
  • usb optical drive (*)
  • usb flash (*)
  • floppy disk drive(*)
  • internal hard disk drive
  • usb hard disk drive (*)
  • network
To get into your bios, the screen when you initially turn on your laptop will tell you what key to press to get into Setup. Press that key and look for boot priority in your bios. Make sure to save your settings when you are done and not to change any other settings while you on in here.

Also, while you are installing Windows, make sure that you only have your mouse, network cable (if you have one) should be the only things connected. Having the usb drives might screw up the windows setup and give you these errors.

Hope this helps!
