I was pretty close to buying a signature edition that a guy picked up from a release party. He had a sealed party pack that includes windows 7 ultimate full edition signed by Steve Ballmer and Windows 7 balloons, tote bags, playing cards, streamers, a puzzle, a poster, and some other stuff but he just wanted too much for it.

Looks like the price for Windows 7 Ultimate (not upgrade) is going to be between $300 and $400, so at least you weren't getting super ripped off lol
