So I have this glitch on my PC and I found an article on it:

http://windowsfixup....0xc0000034-fix/

It tells me to fix this glitch I need these discs:

http://neosmart.net/...-disc-download/

So how do I know which to get?

You need to know which copy of Windows Vista you have installed. On your case you should have a genuine Microsoft Windows sticker that will tell you what version of Windows Vista (32-Bit or 64-Bit).

So, I followed the steps in the article to fix my PC and now it won't even boot up. I was going to try a system recovery but when I boot up my computer it says "Esc:Boot F10:Setup F11:System recovery" and my F11 key won't work. It works on every other computer except it won't let me start the system recovery. Is there another way to start it without being on the desktop? Because my computer won't load past that screen because it says that windows failed to start. So, I am stumped. :c

You need to tell the computer to boot to the cd/dvd in the bios. To do so, follow the steps below:

  • Right after you turn on your computer and you see the little HP logo, tab the F1 key to enter the bios.
  • Use your arrow keys to navigate to the boot tab.
  • Once on the boot tab, use your keyboard to bring the cd/dvd drive up to the top of the list.
  • Press F10 to save and exit the BIOS.
  • Let the computer restart and it should boot to the disk.

Now I'm having an even bigger problem. This is the list of things that happen when I boot up my PC:

1. Black screen (loading)
2. Blue HP Screen (normal)
3. Then it says that windows failed to start because a required drive is inaccecible. It says that to fix my computer I need to use the discs but I did and this screen still pops back up. It also says that the status is "0xc000000f". I Googled that and found this website:

http://www.error-fix...hp?t=0XC000000F

It talks about it and gives a way to fix it. But the file it gives has to be installed to the computer and then you have to run it and hit "scan". But the problem is that I can't even get to the desktop to load up the proggram. I tried to save it to my thumb-drive and bring the file but I can't find out how to load it. I even tried command propt but when I try to access my thumb-drive it says "device is not ready" and I don't know how to get it ready.

By the way, here is 4, 5 and 6

4. If I hit "start windows normaly" the screen turns black
5. Then the screen turns a little bit brighter
6. And then my monitor loses signal with the computer and the computer reboots itself

Can you boot into safemode? try tapping the F8 key right after the HP screen goes away. It should bring up a menu and ask what mode of safemode you want to boot in. Try either of them. If none of them work, try the Last Known Good Configuration option (this mode is recommended to be run last as it will make a few changes to the registry to startup.)

If you can boot into safe mode, let us know and we can start troubleshooting which files are corrupt.

Last known good configuration didn't work and safemode didn't work. I disabled my computer from restarting when it crashes and tried loading it and I got the blue screen of death that said some 2 lines. And the last one I will never forget:

Windows crashed abnormally.

I couldn't make them so I ordered them. They will be here in a few days. I hope I ordered the right ones. I matched the model # and everything.

Yes I made those dics. That's how I loaded up command promt. I tried everything on that dsic and nothing worked. I followed the steps on how to fix a booting error on my PC with that CD and now my PC has another error, the one I am talking about.

Have you tried the startup repair on this screen?

Posted Image

If that doesn't work, have you tried restoring you pc back using a restore point? You may lose some settings on your programs but it won't delete your data. I would recommend trying some restore points before wiping the drive.

My screen didn't have "RM" for some reason but I tried everything else and nothing worked.

The only other option is to boot from a live linux cd, backup your information, and reformat the drive. You could try a program called VistaPE and see if that fixes it. Here is a tutorial on how to make the cd.

Here is the link to get to the downloads page:http://winbuilder.net/download.php?list.3

Right now I am just doing a full system recovery (discs came). I have only 3 files I want to keep and I already have a copy on my thumb drive. So I will get back to you and tell you how it turns out. ;)

Okay, I ordered the CDs and just did a full system recovery. My computer works great now except I can't run any thing. Like all of the games I used to always play now don't work. I have a CD to update graphic drivers with DirectX but the website (http://www.mdmm.com/) wen't down. So now I don't know what to do. :c

Could you give me your product number again? I can find you the latest drivers online for your pc.

Also, here is the DirectX runtime to get that working:

I just got an update from Windows that helped... So I think I'm good to go...

Thanks for the help, though. And for the DirectX link.
