How can I reset to blank a lost password to Windows XP, if I cannot boot from a CD because the options are disabled, Thanks

are you talking about a BIOS password or a user password? If its a BIOS password just take the left cover off your computer and take the battery out that is attached to the motherboard (looks like a watch battery), leave it out for a couple of minutes and then put it back in. , this will reset your BIOS. Which means it removes any passwords and custom settings. So you will have to reconfigure any settings that are not default. If its a user password, boot into safe mode, this will reveal the default admin account. and unless someone has put a password on this account, you should just be able to click on it and it log you right in. Once logged in you can go to the control panel > user accounts and create a new admin account and delete any other user accounts.
