Welcome back Chrissy :)

Please try this:
  • Restart your pc
  • When the blue HP screen pops up, start to tap the F1 key.
  • You should now be on a blue screen. Select the Main tab using the arrow keys on your keyboard.
  • Write down what it says for each of the channel devices.

Please post the results back up here.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't autorun disabled by default in Vista?
Click Start, type 'autorun' in the search box and access the control panel - change the settings to allow autorun.

It has to say something? :P

We are looking for a menu that either lists "channel devices" or "SATA" devices.
