My genius mouse pen wont work on my windows 7 genius mouse pen

i downloaded the driver on its website and im quite sure i downloaded the right one .. but stil it aint working D: help ME please T_T

Hello and welcome to PCHHQ :) I just had a look at http://www.geniusnet.com/ there seems to be a few different models what one is your?

Click on the link above to download the software for it. When it is done downloading, right click on it and click Extract All... Then select the folder on where it should go and hit the extract button.

When it has finished extracting the files, double click on SETUP.EXE

After you are done installing the program restart the pc and see if the pc finds the device. (if the pc doesn't find it on restart, unplug it and plug it back into the pc)

unfortunately it didn't work :(
i download the link / extract it /clicked the setup,exe / reboot my pc / still i cudnt see it on my icon and control panel hardware :(

Could you please open up device manager and tell me if you see any red or yellow icons in the list?

To do so, click Start->Control Panel->System and Security->Hardware and Sound (On the left side menu)->Device Manager

hello :D in you device manger if you click the > next to mice and other pointing devices is it listed there? I thought I'd try help since noops is offline

No, there is a little arrow to the left of "Mice and other pointing devices" in the list. Click on that and it should show some more devices.

What happens when you unplug the device and plug it back in? Does windows attempt to identify the device?

Did you get a popup in the bottom right corner of your screen when you plugged it back in? Does the pc make a noise when you unplug and plug the device in?
