Building a new, just want to make sure that everything will fit and work together before buying everything.


HAF 932 Full Tower

ASUS Crosshair III Motherboard

8GB Corsair DDR3 1333 RAM

3.4GHz AMD Phenom II x4 Processor

Samsung 1TB 7200RPM Hard Drive

Kingston 64GB SSD

EVGA 1GB SLI Supported Graphics Card

Omega Striker 7.1 Channel Sound Card

nMediapc Fan Controller

Hauppauge TV Tuner

Corsair 850W Power Supply

CD/DVD 18x DVD 48x CD

Looks good! That thing is totally loaded :D

You may want to give this drive a shot instead though. It has double the cache size.

Is this a media center PC? Looks pretty good, especially with the sound card. I have an old ATI TV Wonder 650 PRO PCI and it works pretty good with windows media center, you will have to let me know how the Hauppauge works...

Also, why no DVD burner? All you have is a dvd reader?

I like that Hard Drive. I do a lot of music and video editing, as well as gaming and business stuff (I work in IT) so I figure that this PC will provide the best of all possible worlds.

Another few quick thoughts, 1) I think that everything should work with the Motherboard, but just want to check. 2) Is it worth it to buy a motherboard with two processors? And 3) Could you recommend a good CD/DVD/Blu-Ray drive?
