Ubuntu Experiment Going to try something new

Well here goes.

As I write, currently downloading Ubuntu 9.04, Ubuntu server and Edu- add on (have a project for that). Will no doubt be posting a few (!) queries in the forthcoming weeks as I encounter the expected stumbling blocks. Pirate 07 especially will be busy :lol:

. Going to dual-boot my laptop and build a server - domain for starters, plus file and web (multiple servers). Want to run a mixed XP/Linux domain/workgroup as well as a file/web server for home.

Ah well, can't say I didn't do it to myself.

hey don't be asking me too many questions.

I am not an expert by far. I know my way around pretty good, but I still have a lot to learn. I am actually taking a Linux Class (Fedora) right now in school. In a couple of weeks were are going to start building a web server. I am actually looking forward to that part, right now its just basic things that I already know. I might be coming to you to ask questions, you seem to know more than I do.
