hmmmm, I actually just reformatted my computer because I needed to install Fedora, so I got rid of Windows 7 and reinstalled XP along with it. So i might go check this out to see what it is like. Hope its better than Windows Live OneCare, because that was not very good at all. But I seriously doubt its going to be better than running Avast Home Edition and Superantispyware Free Edition. Either way I will post back to let everyone know what I think.

@MadMatt: It has got to be better than AVG Free!! :P

Yep Windows Live OneCare was terrible! It's worth a look this is why I mentioned it, and I would not be shocked if your right about Avast Home Edition and Superantispyware Free Edition.

Well I tried to install Microsoft Security Essentials, however the installation failed twice <_< . So I guess I will stick with Avast and Superantispyware. Maybe I will try it again sometime down the road.

I didn't have any Anti-virus or Spyware protection installed when I tried to Microsoft Security Essentials LOL. It just said installation of MSE has failed. Please restart your computer and try the installation again. So I tried again with same result.

I honestly didn't have high hopes that it was going to be any good. But I would have liked to check it out so I could give a little review about it. If anyone else feels froggy and wants to give it a try go ahead, just let me know how things went and what you think.

Am running it on my Win 7 demo machines - will let you know what happens. Anyone know a good test for it (nothing TOO severe - it is free after all), dodgy site or whatever. Oh, put it on my spare xp laptop too, no problems so far (only been a couple of days).
